About

We make family-friendly games worth gathering for.

How we got here (and why we’re staying)

Sodalite Games started with one simple idea—that game night should be the best night of the week. We wanted games that get everyone leaning in, laughing, and plotting just a little revenge.

It began at a kitchen table in Utah, with a tangle of ideas, playtest scraps, and a dream to make family-friendly games that are worth your time. The name “Sodalite” came from a stone, chosen partly for its meaning (truth and authenticity), partly because it made us smile. Now we ship games to tables all over the world, each one designed to spark moments you’ll talk about long after the last card is played.

Fun without the faff

We make simple games that anyone can pick up and play, without needing a rulebook the size of a novel. Our mission is to bring people together, across ages, backgrounds, and playing styles, and give them experiences that are as easy to start as they are hard to stop.

We’re serious about fun. Everything else? Not so much.

The vision

We picture a world where “game night” means connection and belly laughs. Not confusion, boredom, or endless setup. We want to be the brand people think of when they say, “We’ve got friends coming over, what should we play?”

The people behind the pieces

Sodalite is led by founder and game designer Talon Durrant—a web developer by trade and a firm believer that games can make life a little better. Behind every title is a team of artists, playtesters, and creative minds who bring the worlds to life, right down to the tiniest token.

We celebrate our collaborators because they’re as much a part of the story as the players around your table.

Shall we deal you in?
